Obituary for R. Marcus Gilmore
On June 28, 2012, R. Marcus "Mark" Gilmore, 82, of Sykesville, MD, husband of Catherine "Kitty" (McFall) Gilmore, father of Joanne Rund and her husband Mike of Westminster, MD, grandfather of Christopher and Melanie Rund, brother of Roberta Shannon, John Gilmore and the late Robert Gilmore.
Friends may call at the Slack Funeral Home, P.A., 3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043 on Thursday, July 5 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Services from the funeral home on Friday, July 6 at 10 a.m. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mark served honorably in the United States Air Force for twenty one years. Upon his retirement, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for an additional twenty one years.
